Barbara Hogan (formerly Franklin)

Is a proud graduate of Bryant & Stratton (Healthcare Administration) and a Community Health Foundation Leadership Fellow.

She is the President of Alpha & Omega Health Network, LLC and a CarMax Associate where she serves as CarMax Foundation (Charlotte) Store Champion and has held various other positions.

Barb hails from Buffalo, New York where she worked extensively in Healthcare Administration, Community Capacity Building addressing health disparities.

Later relocating to Hampton, Virginia she served as Clinic Director for a Free Clinic. She was appointed Vice Chair of Hampton Economic Development Purchasing & Procurement Oversight Committee, City of Hampton Neighborhood Commission - Commissioner of Communications and a member of Hampton’s Downtown Exchange Club.

Barb is a North Carolina Notary (Traditional & eNotary), Community Health Worker/NC-AHEC, Licensed State of NC DMV Sales Representative, CPR Certified and a proud Charlotte NAACP member and is Board Governance.

A passionate reader, volunteering and decorating are her hobbies however, none compares to engaging with her grandchildren and great-grands! She is the proud mom of Tanisha & Dezi Jr.
